The products we manufacture normally require a number of premachine and post machining processes. We have a large network of ISO and Nadcap certified vendors who perform these critical processes for us. We provide complete proof of traceability for all our operations and those of our suppliers.

We pride ourselves on a high level of accuracy in our machining operations. Whether we are grinding, milling or turning, tolerances can be held to +/- .0001 if that is what our customer demands. You can expect that our parts will not only meet 100% of the dimensional tolerances but also meet strict visual and cosmetic standards as required by the aerospace industry. The Talbar Aerospace inspection lab is fully equipped. Our CMM accuracy is within .0002. Any feature that is machined is either validated on the CMM or gaged. Our inventory of calibrated thread gages is very extensive.

The machine tools Talbar Aerospace utilizes are the best in the industry in terms of reliability, speed and accuracy. Our programmer operators individually possess more than 25 years experience in the trade. Our Mastercam CAD/CAM software is kept up to date on a yearly basis to ensure any customer supplied models are easily imported in to the system. Once that is complete we are able to employ the most technologically advanced tool paths in the industry today. With some of the more complex parts we utilize our Pro Engineer software to efficiently develop fixtures for the machining process. Our operators have a high level of experience when dealing with extremely thin walled parts, as is common place in the aerospace industry. We inventory an extensive amount of tooling to handle any task. Whether its 7050 Alum, 6Al 4V Titanium, high temp alloys or heat treated stainless, we can handle it. This all adds up to competitively priced parts, on time delivery, and a high level of quality every time for our customers.
Talbar Aerospace is a ISO 9001:2015 certified company. See attached certificate. On every job we maintain strict quality guidelines from receipt of material, through machining, inspection and special processes. Review and acceptance of material certification is required before any job can be released to the manufacturing floor. Our system generates an internal shop order number for every order put into the system. The order number is assigned to a manufacturing process router. The router is attached to the customer drawing. Each employee is required to sign and date when a process has been completed to drawing specifications. First Article inspection is completed for each operation before proceeding with production. CMM inspection data is supplied to the customer with every job. ANSI ASQ Z1.4-2003 and MIL-STD-105E are adhered to for sampling and inspection criteria unless our customers supply us with their own Quality inspection procedures that need to be followed. Every job that is shipped to the customer has a data pack supplied with it. In the pack is full material certifications and inspection data for every feature on the drawing. Certificates of Conformance for all special processes with traceability back to our shop order number are supplied in that data pack. Records are maintained for a minimum of 7 years after shipment to the customer.
